Which fish does “pompano” mean?

Does raising pompano in a tank change its habitat classification?
No. The NOAA-hosted review discusses managed aquaculture methods, including recirculating systems and ocean net pens. Being raised in a managed system does not change the species’ wild habitat classification as a marine fish.
