The “From Cnidarians to Annelids” assessment is a Polish biology test covering cnidarians, flatworms, roundworms, and annelids. The four-page PDF has two forms, Group A and Group B, with nine tasks and 25 points per form; it does not include an answer key or grading scale.
What does the test cover?
The assessment checks animal-group characteristics, habitats and lifestyles, adaptations to parasitism, parasite transmission, and prevention. A school notice listing broader learning requirements also includes infection routes for tapeworms, human roundworms, pinworms, and Trichinella.
| Animal group | Topics covered |
|---|---|
| Cnidarians | Body form, habitat, and identifying features |
| Flatworms | Free-living flatworms, parasitic forms, and tapeworm adaptations |
| Roundworms | Human roundworm and pinworm transmission, Trichinella, and prevention |
| Annelids | Recognizing annelids and describing their ecological and human importance |
How is the assessment structured?
Each form has nine tasks. The printed point values add up to 25 points per form, according to the four-page assessment PDF.
| Task | What students do | Points |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Label a cnidarian diagram and identify its habitat and body form | 3 |
| 2 | Mark statements about cnidarians true or false | 3 |
| 3 | Distinguish tapeworms from free-living flatworms | 6 |
| 4 | Label parts of an armed tapeworm and explain their functions | 2 |
| 5 | Put stages of human roundworm infection in order | 1 |
| 6 | Evaluate statements about parasite transmission | 4 |
| 7 | Identify annelids from illustrations or descriptions | 1 |
| 8 | Explain the functions of leech structures | 1 |
| 9 | Give examples of the importance of annelids | 4 |
The PDF does not provide a grading scale or official answer key. Its true-or-false statements are questions for students to assess, not facts to repeat as answers without checking a reliable biology source.

How do Group A and Group B differ?
Both forms cover the same subject matter, but change the examples and the order of questions. Group A begins with the freshwater cnidarian Hydra (stułbia płowa), shown in its polyp form. Group B begins with the marine blue jellyfish (chełbia modra), shown in its medusa form. The true-or-false statements, parasite statements, and annelid descriptions also differ in order or example.
Key concepts to review
Cnidarians
Review the body forms and identifying features used in the test, including the distinction between a polyp and a medusa. Group A uses Hydra and Group B uses the blue jellyfish as examples. The assessment includes true-or-false prompts about cnidarians; treat them as prompts to evaluate, not as an answer key.
Rank #2
Flatworms and tapeworms
Be ready to distinguish free-living flatworms from parasitic forms and explain tapeworm adaptations. The assessment asks students to label an armed tapeworm and describe the functions of its structures.
Roundworms and parasite transmission
The assessment includes ordering stages of human roundworm infection and evaluating statements about parasite transmission. The broader learning requirements listed by a school notice also name pinworms and Trichinella and include prevention. Learn each parasite’s transmission route and prevention separately rather than assuming that all parasites spread in the same way.

- Vibrant, full-color visuals: Enhancing learning with captivating illustrations
Annelids
Practice identifying annelids from illustrations and descriptions, explaining the functions of leech structures, and giving examples of annelids’ importance. The two test forms use different annelid descriptions, including a terrestrial, earthworm-like animal and a marine annelid with a distinct head and bristles.
How to prepare
- Compare the four groups. Make a study table of their identifying features, habitats, lifestyles, and examples, using your class materials.
- Practice diagrams. Review the cnidarian diagram and the armed tapeworm structures named in your lessons.
- Review transmission and prevention. Learn the routes and prevention measures for the parasites included in your class requirements.
- Identify animals from clues. Practice using the illustrations and descriptions in the assessment rather than relying only on names.
- Read true-or-false statements carefully. Evaluate each statement as written; the question itself does not establish which answer is correct.
How to assess online copies and quizzes
Not every online resource with a similar title reproduces the same assessment. The dossier identifies a four-page PDF with Groups A and B, while online quiz pages may contain shorter versions or different questions. A Studocu-generated quiz has internally inconsistent explanations and mixes material from unrelated questions, so it should not be treated as a reliable answer key.
Rank #4
The PDF has no visible publisher imprint, edition number, publication date, grading scale, or answer key. Online listings associate a quiz version with class 6 biology and the Nowa Era “Puls życia” chapter, but that does not establish the PDF’s publisher or publication date.

Do Group A and Group B cover the same material?
Yes. Both cover cnidarians, flatworms, roundworms, and annelids, but change the examples and the order of some questions.
Does the PDF include an answer key?
No. The four-page PDF does not include an official answer key. Do not assume that a similarly titled online quiz is the key to this specific assessment.
Which parasites are part of the wider learning requirements?
The school notice lists tapeworms, human roundworms, pinworms, and Trichinella, along with infection routes and prevention. Check your class materials for the exact scope your teacher expects.
