What happened to Goldust’s dog at Crufts?
Beast competed for Dustin Rhodes at Crufts 2026, the four-day dog show held at the NEC Birmingham from 5–8 March. Reports place Beast third in the working-group open category on 5 March; the class was identified as 234 Open Dog.
That placement means Beast finished third in his specific open working-group competition. It should not be described as third overall at Crufts or as a Best in Show result.
What breed is Beast, and how big is he?
Beast is a Mastiff. Rhodes described him as weighing 250 pounds, or about 114 kilograms. That is the weight reported for this dog, not a breed-wide average.

What does Beast eat?
Rhodes reported that Beast eats eight cups of food per day, consisting of dry food along with chicken, rice and steak. Rhodes estimated the monthly food cost at about $250 (approximately £187). That is his reported estimate, not an independently verified price, and it may not represent the cost for every Mastiff.
Because feeding needs vary with a dog’s age, health, activity and veterinary plan, Beast’s routine should not be treated as a universal prescription for large-breed dogs.
