Untamed is a UK wet-cat-food delivery service sold through a trial box and a recurring meal plan. Its gravy recipes are described by the company as complete, but that claim should not automatically be applied to every format. Whether it suits your cat depends on the exact recipe label, your cat’s acceptance and the ongoing cost shown at checkout—not on promotional claims alone.
What Untamed sells
Untamed markets wet food in several recipe formats and offers a 12-meal trial box through its UK site. Customers choose a meal plan tailored to their cat, with food delivered to their door. The subscription page describes a promotional trial followed by an ongoing plan; the checkout and help pages say the plan can be edited, paused or cancelled. Untamed’s UK site and its subscription page provide the current offer details.
Is Untamed nutritionally complete?
Untamed says its gravy recipes are complete and include additional vitamins and nutrients. That is a company statement about those recipes, not evidence that every Untamed format is complete. Before using a recipe as your cat’s everyday diet, check the specific product name and current pack label for a complete-food declaration and suitability for your cat’s life stage. Follow that product’s feeding directions. Untamed’s recipe information is a starting point, but the packaging for the food you buy is the relevant check.
Compare the ingredient list, analytical constituents, calories and feeding guidance across the exact recipes you are considering. The available information does not establish an independent nutritional advantage over other brands, so claims of superiority would need comparable labels or independent analysis to support them.

Will your cat eat it?
Acceptance is individual. A 12-meal trial can help you see whether your cat will eat the food, but neither customer testimonials nor anecdotes predict how a particular cat will respond. Introduce a new food gradually in line with appropriate veterinary advice, especially if your cat has a medical condition or a sensitive stomach.
Untamed promotes whole-meat ingredients and grain-free recipes on its home page. Those are product characteristics, not guarantees that a recipe is right for every cat. Match the formula to your cat’s needs and check the label rather than treating “grain-free” or “whole meat” as a substitute for a complete, suitable diet.

What the customer-outcome figures do—and don’t—show
Untamed reports that 73% of customers said their litter box smelled less, 69% reported shinier and softer fur, and 74% reported health improvements within one month. A separate company page says 87% of customers see health improvements. Untamed does not state a year, sample size or survey method for these figures in the material reviewed, and they are not independently validated there. They should be read as company-reported customer feedback, not as proof that the food caused those outcomes. Untamed’s site displays the claims.

- Estimate the daily cost using the amount your cat would actually eat, based on the recipe’s feeding guidance and your feeding plan. Compare that with alternatives using equivalent daily portions, not just the cost of a box or pouch.
The practical value question is whether the food’s recipe and label suit your cat and whether home delivery and plan flexibility are worth the recurring cost to you. The available information does not support a like-for-like competitor price comparison.

Untamed may suit UK cat owners who want wet food delivered on a recurring plan and are willing to check the exact recipe and subscription terms. The strongest qualification is nutritional completeness: the company specifically describes its gravy recipes as complete, so verify the declaration on the exact format and life-stage label rather than assuming all recipes meet that standard. Use the trial to judge your own cat’s acceptance, and make the decision on the post-trial price and your cat’s actual daily feeding amount.
