One year after a dog attack in which he protected his younger sister, Bridger Walker reportedly wanted his facial scar improved but not erased completely. His father, Robert Walker, said Bridger was proud of the scar, but did not see it as a measure of his brave act.

On July 9, 2020, six-year-old Bridger was playing with his four-year-old sister in a friend’s backyard in Wyoming when a charging dog approached, according to the family account reported by KSL. Bridger stood between the dog and his sister.
