Lola, an 18-month-old Cavoodle, was reported missing from North Perth on 5 April 2025 after she ran out into the front yard. Her family and local residents searched for her, and police appealed for information. Available reporting does not authoritatively confirm whether Lola was later found.
When and where did Lola go missing?
PerthNow reported on 17 April 2025 that Lola was last seen at about 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, 5 April, outside her family’s North Perth property. Her partner had left the front door open while taking out the bins. Lola ran into the front yard of the shared driveway and disappeared within minutes, her owner Juliet told PerthNow.
What did Lola look like?
The appeal described Lola as a friendly, energetic, 18-month-old Cavoodle with blonde and brown fur. She was approximately 40 cm long and 40 cm tall, wore a pink collar and was microchipped, according to the report, which cited a Wembley police Facebook appeal.
What did the community and police do?
Juliet shared appeals in Facebook community groups, and dozens of local residents joined the search. People walked nearby streets, shared posts and checked for Lola. One community member told PerthNow they had spent an hour searching with liver treats, covering Clieveden, Paddington, Redfern, Northam, Fitzgerald and the area toward Farmer St park and the community garden.

Was Lola stolen?
The report did not establish that Lola was stolen. People who passed a nearby empty lot later told the family they had seen a dark-coloured SUV pull in and leave quickly. That is an attributed witness account, not proof that Lola was in the vehicle or that a crime occurred. PerthNow separately described theft as speculation following her disappearance.
