The rescuers removed the puppy, named Mini, and arranged foster care, the article says. The account does not independently verify the events or provide a later update on Mini.
What happened to the puppy reportedly living in a birdcage?
IHeartDogs reports that Dog Rescue Shelter Mladenovac received a tip about a puppy in a large outdoor birdcage and went to investigate. The article says rescuers took the puppy from the cage and arranged a foster placement. It attributes the account to the rescue organization and a YouTube video, but the retrieved article does not establish the video’s provenance or offer independent confirmation of the rescue.
Who rescued the puppy, and what was the puppy’s name?
The article credits Dog Rescue Shelter Mladenovac with responding to the report. It says the puppy was named Mini and placed in foster care. It does not report Mini’s subsequent health, adoption, or welfare status.
Is the claim that rescuers were legally allowed to take the puppy confirmed?
The article says the rescuers were legally permitted to remove the puppy because the cage was exposed to the weather. It does not identify a jurisdiction, legal provision, or official source for that claim, so the legal basis cannot be confirmed from the account. The report should not be treated as a general rule about when someone may remove an animal from another person’s care.

What should you do if you suspect animal mistreatment?
IHeartDogs advises contacting local authorities. Use the official reporting channel for the area where the animal is located; procedures and responsible agencies vary by jurisdiction. If an animal appears to be in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency or animal-control authority rather than assuming you have legal authority to intervene yourself.
