- Construction: Check which parts you will crochet and whether they are sewn together or made using another method.
- Finished size: Tori is about 4 inches across. That measurement applies to that pattern, not to amigurumi turtles generally.
- Skill level: Make sure you are comfortable with the stitches and finishing steps the pattern expects.
Gather the materials your pattern requires
A practical supply list from the Tori pattern includes yarn, a crochet hook, stuffing, two 6 mm plastic safety eyes, a yarn needle, and scissors. Finish and check your work
Once the parts are assembled, use the pattern’s finishing directions to secure yarn ends and complete the turtle. Check that the stitches and joins follow the pattern, that the facial features are placed as intended, and that no required steps were skipped.
