What is AshPoopie?
AshPoopie—also styled AshPooPie or Ashpoopie—is a proposed dog-waste pickup and treatment device from Paulee CleanTec. Rather than bagging waste for disposal, its intended design combines scooping with a cartridge-driven process inside a portable tool. The company’s Pet Application page describes a lightweight mechanical pickup tool with a clean compartment; pressing a button releases a cartridge to start the process.
The key status detail is that Paulee CleanTec labels the device “Prototype Only Coming soon.” That is not evidence of a product currently available to buy. Does AshPoopie really turn dog poop into ash?

The available sources do not provide independent performance tests, the output’s chemical composition, safety documentation, or validated guidance for using it as fertilizer. So it is more accurate to say AshPoopie was designed and marketed to convert dog waste into ash or powder than to say it has been proven to do so safely or reliably.
How was the proposed device supposed to work?
In a 2011 account, New Atlas described a retractable handle and an internal chamber where collected waste would mix with chemicals supplied by a replaceable capsule. Paulee CleanTec’s current description likewise refers to a cartridge released by a button to initiate a chemical process. Together, these descriptions outline the intended idea: pick up waste, contain it in the device, then trigger treatment using a consumable cartridge.

The exact capsule contents and confirmed technical specifications were not disclosed in the historical New Atlas report. A contemporaneous ISRAEL21c article discussed the capsule-based concept and quoted Paulee CleanTec’s then-chief financial officer, Moshe Hibel, on the company’s ambition. Any historical capsule-cost estimate or launch expectation from that period should not be treated as a current price or specification.
