What the annual Access/Depredation fee does
The Access/Depredation fee is charged with annual resident and nonresident licenses, not daily licenses. Idaho Fish and Game says it supports hunting and fishing access and wildlife-management resources. It is an annual charge, so it applies to the first annual adult license purchase of the year rather than every additional annual license bought later that year.

Resident or nonresident?
For licensing purposes, Idaho generally considers you a resident only after you have lived in the state for the six months immediately before applying. Anyone who does not meet that standard must purchase a nonresident license. Check Idaho Fish and Game’s residency rules if your move, military status or other circumstances make your status unclear.
