The five Savannah cats that Cats.com profiles as TikTok stars in its roundup updated August 17, 2026 are Amira, Rex, Fiji, Zeus and Dexter. Each has a large following built on short clips: an agility slip, a remote-controlled toy chase, household mischief, a loud meow, and cuddles. The roundup’s introduction refers to “these six Savannahs,” but only five cats are profiled, so this list covers those five.
The five cats at a glance
The table below summarizes each profile as Cats.com presents it. Follower counts and view figures are the article’s own numbers from its August 17, 2026 update, not live TikTok counts.
| Cat | TikTok handle | Followers listed (Cats.com, Aug. 17, 2026) | Signature hook in the article |

Who each cat is
Amira: the agile one
Amira’s best-known clip shows her losing her footing on a high metal bar, catching herself and swinging from it. The article also features a leash-walking outing to a Hyundai dealer, which gives her account a lighter, outdoor angle. With 7K followers listed, she is the smallest account of the five, but the article still treats her climbing and balance footage as the core of her appeal.
Rex: the toy chaser and sock collector
Rex’s account, @rexthebengalsavannah, is described in the article as calling him a “Savangal,” which the article presents as a Savannah-Bengal mix. That is the account’s label as reported by Cats.com, not a formal breed designation, so it should be read that way. The toy anecdote is the most useful one for pet owners: Rex chases a teaser pulled by a remote-control car. Another clip shows him collecting socks. The article lists 107K followers.

Fiji: household mischief
Fiji’s account, @fijithekat, leans on comedy. The article highlights her swatting at an owner who is sweeping and stealing a slipper. Her chimney-sweeping video is the single largest view figure in the roundup, which Cats.com reports as more than 147 million views. These are individual video moments. They show what this particular cat does on camera, not what Savannahs as a group do; the breed-level context appears further down.
Zeus: loud, athletic, and catnip-driven
Zeus, @kingzuus, is the most varied of the five. The article describes a loud-meow video, a jump over a six-layer stack of soda cans, and catnip balls that he licks and spins in featured clips. The pinned meow video is reported as having more than 40 million likes. The article lists 720K followers. The catnip balls are the only toy in the roundup that Cats.com mentions beyond Rex’s teaser anecdote.

Dexter, @dexterboycat, is presented mainly through cuddle videos. Cats.com identifies him as an F6 Savannah. That generation label comes from the article, and this list does not independently confirm his pedigree. With 622K followers listed, his account sits in the same range as Fiji’s and Zeus’s.
How to read the follower and view figures
- Every follower and view number here comes from Cats.com’s August 17, 2026 update. Social metrics move constantly, so the current count on each handle may differ.
- The 147 million views and 40 million likes are single-video figures reported in that article, not totals for the accounts.
- To check a live figure, open the handle directly on TikTok and compare it with the date on the article.
What Savannahs are, according to breed sources
TICA, the registry that maintains the Savannah breed standard, describes the breed in terms that line up with the clips. Its profile calls Savannahs active, adventurous and high-energy, and says they are intelligent and persistent and may get into mischief when curiosity takes over. It gives a life expectancy of 12 to 15+ years. The breed standard states: “The Savannah cat is a domestic breed which closely resembles its ancestral source the African Serval, but is smaller in stature.” Cats.com describes the Savannah as a cross between a wild African serval and a domestic cat. The two descriptions differ in emphasis: TICA treats the Savannah as a domestic breed, while the article’s framing stresses the serval ancestry.

Breed traits explain why these energetic clips are common, but they do not establish what any one cat will do. Read the TikTok clips as evidence about those five individual cats.
Check local rules before thinking about ownership
Cats.com says some states restrict Savannah ownership. That is a general statement in the article, not a current, jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction check. Rules differ by state, county and city, and they can change. Before considering a Savannah, confirm the current requirements with your state and local animal authorities rather than relying on a viral roundup.

Toy ideas inspired by the clips
Rex’s teaser-chasing clip is the closest match to a product category in the article. The category is an interactive cat teaser toy. Cats.com does not name a brand or model, and it does not say that Rex used any particular product, so treat the category as an example of interactive play rather than a recommendation. Zeus’s catnip balls are the other toy idea the article shows. Any toy should be supervised, especially for a high-energy cat that climbs and jumps as these do.
The five Savannahs in this roundup are a useful snapshot of what draws attention on TikTok: athletic risk, comic mischief, loud personality and affection. For a clear picture of the breed itself, the TICA description and the breed standard quote are the better references.
