Petunia won the 2025 World’s Ugliest Dog Contest on August 8 at the Sonoma County Fair in Santa Rosa, California. The Sonoma-Marin Agricultural Association described her as a two-year-old hairless French Bulldog–English Bulldog mix from Eugene, Oregon.
Local reporting says Petunia was rescued by Luvable Dog Rescue from a Las Vegas backyard breeder, received surgery for breathing difficulties associated with brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS), and was given daily coconut oil treatments for her hairless skin. These are reported details about Petunia’s care, not general veterinary advice.
