A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11In September 2024, videos attributed to Serbian influencer Stefan Jankovic spread widely online. News reports described one clip showing him inside a bear den as a bear returned and approached, and another showing him up a tree with bears below. The clips drew millions of reported views, but the available reporting does not independently establish the exact location, the bears’ identities, or whether the encounter was spontaneous.
What the videos reportedly showed
PerthNow’s September 16, 2024 report described a clip in which Jankovic sat at the base of a den. A bear returned, sniffed around, and approached; Jankovic then moved toward the entrance. A second clip showed him climbing a tree while bears were below. PerthNow reported these details based on social-media footage; its account is not independent verification of the scene.
India Today’s September 18 report also described a bear sniffing Jankovic and his phone, followed by a clip with two bears visible below the tree. It characterized the den entry as accidental, but the reporting available here does not establish that independently. India Today reproduced a translated caption attributed to Jankovic: “You won’t believe what happened to me. I spent 24 hours in the forest, and a bear attacked me. It’s waiting for me, and there’s another one.” That English wording is the outlet’s translation, not a verified verbatim translation of the original post. Read India Today’s report.
When the clips appeared and how widely they were reported to spread
A WTVO report syndicated by Yahoo said the video was posted on Friday, September 13, 2024. News coverage followed between September 16 and 18. The outlets’ view figures are dated snapshots from that period, not current counts or verified platform analytics.

The difference between the two figures does not by itself indicate a contradiction: they were published on different dates and may reflect separate snapshots. Neither report supplies a named primary analytics source. NDTV’s September 17 account reported nearly 70 million views, while India Today’s September 18 account reported 74 million.
Where was the bear-den video filmed?
The syndicated WTVO report named Gornja Paklenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as the location. The other reporting cited here does not independently corroborate that place, so it should be treated as a reported claim rather than a confirmed filming location. WTVO’s report syndicated by Yahoo also attributed information about two bears named Masa and Ljubica to Serbian media; their identities and living arrangements are not independently confirmed in the available accounts.

Was the encounter real, staged, or accidental?
The reports describe what appeared in the clips but do not establish how the den encounter came about. They do not show whether it was spontaneous or staged, whether the bears were accustomed to people, or what happened outside the filmed moments. A report’s description of the den entry as accidental is not independent proof of that circumstance.
PerthNow noted other videos on Jankovic’s TikTok account that appeared to show him with and feeding bears. Bored Panda described other footage as showing a handler with him. Those reports provide context about other material, not proof of who was present or what conditions applied during the den video. Bored Panda’s account is also secondary reporting, not an authoritative record of the encounter.

- News reports described clips of Jankovic at a den as a bear approached, followed by footage of him in a tree with bears below.
- The videos were reported as circulating in September 2024; one syndicated account gave September 13 as the posting date.
- Two outlets published view estimates of nearly 70 million and 74 million on September 17 and 18, 2024, respectively. They are historical media reports, not confirmed current totals.
- The exact location, bear identities, care arrangements, and circumstances of the encounter remain unverified in the reporting cited here.
The available accounts are news and feature reports rather than statements from a wildlife authority. They do not provide authoritative safety guidance, so the footage should not be treated as an example of safe conduct around bears.
