At Amber Basanovic’s homestead, Sundae approaches Frankie, settles beside him and nudges close while he remains relaxed. The scene feels like a daily ritual, though the report describes a reel rather than documenting a recurring schedule.
Who are Frankie and Sundae?
Frankie is identified as a Border Collie, and Sundae as a rescued goose. The two are associated with Amber Basanovic’s homestead, according to DogTime’s October 5, 2026 account of the Instagram reel.
What happens in the reel?
Sundae approaches Frankie, stays beside him, settles down and nudges against him. Frankie appears relaxed as she gets close. The report also describes the pair resting outdoors near a glass door. These are observations of the scene as DogTime recounts it, not a veterinary or formal behavioral assessment.
Why does their friendship feel so sweet?
The charm is in the quietness of the interaction: Sundae chooses to remain close, and Frankie does not appear unsettled by her contact. DogTime attributes the phrases “the most beautiful little bond” and “the sweetest thing” to Basanovic’s caption. The reel’s reported moments offer a glimpse of companionship between two very different animals without needing a dramatic explanation.

Is this really a daily ritual?
“Daily ritual” is the title’s framing, but DogTime’s account does not establish that the pair repeat this interaction every day. It describes moments in an Instagram reel, not a schedule documented over time. It also does not explain how the friendship began or provide details about Sundae’s rescue history, age, care arrangements or veterinary context.
