What should the purchase price include?

CFA cautions that white cats, especially those with blue eyes, can be prone to deafness. - Itemize care and screening: record which examinations, vaccinations, hearing assessments, and other screening have been completed, and ask for copies of the records.
- List transfer terms: note microchip, sterilization, transport, supplies, and any written health or return agreement.
- Compare the final terms: ask what remains for you to arrange or pay, and compare like with like rather than relying on the headline price alone.
Plan for basic setup separately
Do not assume the purchase price covers household equipment. PetMD recommends cat trees or perches for Turkish Angoras, and TICA recommends weekly combing. CFA says the breed’s single coat is not prone to matting and that combing two or three times a month may suffice for younger cats. A suitable climbing spot and a basic grooming comb are practical setup considerations, not evidence of a required or included purchase.
