App tracking may help an owner notice changes worth paying attention to, but it is not a diagnosis or proof that a pet is drinking enough. The evidence available does not establish that the fountain improves hydration or produces a health benefit. If you are concerned about your pet’s drinking or hydration, consult a veterinarian.

What maintenance does Enabot recommend?
Enabot recommends cleaning the fountain weekly, changing the filter every two weeks, and replacing the sponge monthly. The manufacturer says to keep changing the filter and sponge even if you use pure water; this is its product guidance, not an independent water-safety standard. Enabot also says the fountain stops dispensing and sends an app reminder when water falls below the minimum level. That is a manufacturer-described behavior; it has not been independently verified.
