Bluey and Trixie (@bluey_and_trixie_devonrex)
The article quotes the cats’ human, “Amanda H,” from the Bluey and Trixie page: “They are here to entertain and create chaos.” The quote is attributed to the account owner through the article; the article did not include an interview with an independent source.
Ruby (@devon_rex_life)

How to read the follower counts
The counts above describe February 2026 only. Eight months later, they may be noticeably different, and the article did not establish whether every account is still active. To update the list before you share it:
- Open each handle in the Instagram app or on the web and note the followers figure shown on the profile.
- Record the date you checked it next to each count.
- Scroll to the most recent post and note its date to confirm the account is still posting.
- If an account is private, deleted, or renamed, mark it as unavailable instead of keeping the old count.
Why this is a curated selection, not a ranking
The author, Cats.com writer Kellie B. Gormly, wrote in the introduction: “Note that there are many more worthy Devon Rex accounts with small followings, and I may have missed a big one in the vast Instagram jungle.” The eight accounts reflect what the author chose to feature, so the list does not show which Devon Rex accounts have the largest audiences overall.

Follower count is also a weak measure of entertainment value. Some accounts on this list are small but very active, and others have larger audiences but a narrower range of content. Readers looking for something different can search the breed name in Instagram’s search bar and follow the accounts that come up in results, then compare post frequency and content style for themselves.

Devon Rex basics that explain the personalities
Temperament
The Traditional Cat Association (TICA) describes Devon Rex cats as active, playful, intelligent, social, and people-oriented. TICA also says they can become bored when left alone for long periods, which may help explain why so many of these accounts feature human-centered, playful content.
Appearance
TICA identifies the breed’s characteristic look as large low-set ears, large eyes, a short muzzle, and a short wavy coat.
Breed reference figures
TICA’s at-a-glance profile gives a life expectancy of 14 to 17+ years and a typical weight of 5 to 7 pounds for females and 7 to 9 pounds for males. The profile page is undated. These numbers describe the breed in general and do not predict how long any individual cat will live or how much it will weigh.

Everyday care
- The coat generally needs little grooming.
- Large ears can collect oily buildup and should be cleaned when they look dirty.
- Claws should be trimmed weekly.
Health screening
TICA recommends genetic testing for available markers, including Devon myopathy, and says parents should be scanned for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Questions about a specific cat’s health should go to a veterinarian.
Keeping an active Devon Rex occupied
TICA states: “Puzzle and interactive toys will keep them occupied when they are alone.” Interactive cat toys, including puzzle feeders and toys, are the practical category to look for. The article does not say that any featured cat uses a particular toy, so treat this as general breed guidance.
Where the breed stands beyond Instagram
CFA’s “Most Popular Breeds for 2026” article ranks the Devon Rex fifth among the breeds it presents and describes the breed as highly interested in human activity. That is a breed-popularity ranking from CFA. It does not measure which Devon Rex accounts are most followed on Instagram, and it should not be read as evidence for the accounts on this list.
