A Maltese puppy appears intensely focused on a doorstep parcel in a short clip reported on October 6, 2026. He runs to the front door, turns back when a person asks what he is doing, and then hurries outside toward a box. The puppy grabs at the package and tries to lift it, although the box is much too large for him. The scene can look like a dog waiting all day for a delivery, but the available report does not establish how long he had been waiting, what is inside the box, or which carrier delivered it.
What happens in the delivery-dog video?
The sequence begins with the small dog running in from the front door. A human voice asks what he is doing and says, “Show me, show me.” The puppy turns around and heads back toward the glass door rather than settling down or wandering away.

The person then asks, “Who’s here? The Amazon is here?” That sentence is spoken by the human in the clip; it is not confirmation that the parcel came from that carrier.
Once the door opens, the Maltese rushes to the box. He gets his mouth around an edge and attempts to lift or pull it, despite the package being oversized compared with his body. The report describes an eager attempt to participate in bringing the parcel inside, not a confirmed unboxing.

Has the puppy really been waiting all day?
There is no evidence in the accessible report that the dog waited all day, or even that he was watching for a scheduled delivery. The “waiting all day” impression comes from his immediate dash to the door and his confidence around the box. A short video captures the behavior shown, but it cannot establish what happened before filming began.
It is therefore safest to describe him as reacting enthusiastically when a parcel is present. Saying that he literally expected a particular delivery, understood the carrier, or had spent hours at the door would go beyond the documented footage.

What is known about the dog and package?
| Detail | What the report establishes |
|---|---|
| Dog | A Maltese puppy; his personal name is not disclosed. |
| Source | The clip is credited to the Instagram account @malteseangelshome and was covered in a DogTime report dated October 6, 2026. |
| Parcel | A box visible at the doorstep; its contents are not identified. |
| Delivery company | Not confirmed. “The Amazon is here?” is a line from the human voice. |
| Location | Not disclosed in the accessible report. |
The credited account caption calls the dog “Cuddly Fluffy, fabulous, and ready to steal your heart.” That wording is a caption, not an independently verified name or biography.
Why does the clip look like a dog expecting a delivery?
Several visible cues create that interpretation:
- The puppy moves directly toward the entrance after being prompted to show what he is doing.
- He waits at the glass door with rapid paw taps, suggesting high arousal or anticipation.
- He runs straight to the box instead of stopping to investigate the wider porch.
- He tries to take hold of the parcel, making him look involved in the household’s delivery routine.
Those observations describe body movement. They do not prove that the puppy recognizes a brand, knows what a parcel contains, or understands a delivery schedule.

Is this a product unboxing or a carrier confirmation?
No. The available account of the clip ends with the puppy trying to move a box that is too large for him. It does not identify the contents, show an opened package, or provide a statement from a delivery company. Treating the scene as an unboxing, a product endorsement, or proof of a particular carrier would add facts that are not reported.
How should viewers describe the video accurately?
Descriptions such as “a Maltese dog runs to the front door for a package” or “a puppy grabs a delivery box” match the visible action. “Dog waiting for a delivery” is also reasonable when it is understood as a playful impression rather than a verified timeline.
