What is a green-cheeked conure?
The green-cheeked conure is Pyrrhura molinae, a species in the genus Pyrrhura. Green-cheeked parakeet is another common name for the same bird. The Integrated Taxonomic Information System lists Pyrrhura molinae as a valid species.

The species is native to Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay, where it is associated primarily with forest habitats.
