The 2025 Thanksgiving dog show was the National Dog Show Presented by Purina, broadcast on NBC on Thursday, November 27, from noon to 2 p.m. local time. NBC Sports listed Peacock, NBCSports.com, and the NBC Sports app as streaming routes; the AKC also named NBC’s website and apps such as YouTube TV. The event has passed, so check Peacock’s current listing before counting on a replay, and do not assume any online option is free.
A local NBC station may be available over the air without a pay-TV subscription if you can receive its signal. That is different from watching online, where access and subscription requirements depend on the service and current terms.

Peacock’s page displayed Premium at $12.99 monthly or $129.99 annually, and Premium Plus at $19.99 monthly or $199.99 annually when checked on October 7, 2026. Prices and catalog access can change, so confirm the current checkout page. The sources do not confirm a free stream of this program.
Peacock lists the program runtime as 1 hour and 24 minutes. NBC Sports gave a two-hour broadcast window; the sources do not explain the difference, so do not assume the listing has the same duration as the television broadcast.
2. NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app
NBC Sports listed NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app as streaming routes for the 2025 event. Whether a particular stream is currently available, and whether it asks you to sign in or meet other eligibility requirements, may depend on the stream and your location. Check the current page or app prompt rather than assuming access is free or that a provider login is always required.

- HAPPINESS, GUARANTEED – Have an issue? Want to chat? Reach out to us directly and you’ll get a real person whose sole job is to make you and your pup happy.
3. YouTube TV and other streaming apps
The AKC named NBC’s website and streaming apps such as YouTube TV as ways to stream the event. That identifies possible routes for the broadcast, not a free service or a guarantee that a service carries a historical replay. Check its current channel lineup, subscription terms, and availability before relying on it.

If your local NBC station is receivable over the air, you may be able to watch the live television broadcast without a pay-TV subscription. An antenna can help receive a local signal, but reception depends on your location and is not guaranteed. The event sources do not verify reception at any individual address.
This is an option for a live local broadcast, not access to Peacock or an on-demand replay. Check whether an NBC affiliate serves your area before buying equipment.

What was the 2025 broadcast?
The National Dog Show Presented by Purina aired on NBC on Thursday, November 27, 2025, from noon to 2 p.m. local time. NBC Sports says NBC has televised the event after the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade since 2002. Peacock’s listing describes the 2025 program as 1 hour and 24 minutes; that runtime differs from the two-hour NBC broadcast window, and the sources do not explain why.
Do not confuse it with other dog shows
The Thanksgiving broadcast is the National Dog Show Presented by Purina, organized by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia and licensed by the American Kennel Club. It is separate from:
- The AKC National Championship, a separate event with its own broadcast arrangements.
- The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, a separate competition with different dates, organizers, and coverage.
Use the full event name when searching so you do not end up with coverage or schedules for a different show.

How to check legitimate viewing options
- Check Peacock’s official listing. Confirm that the 2025 program is still available and review the current plan and price.
- Check NBC Sports. Look at NBCSports.com or the NBC Sports app for current event coverage and any access prompt.
- Check a streaming app’s terms. If considering YouTube TV or another app named by the AKC, confirm its current channel lineup and subscription requirements.
- For a future live broadcast, check your local NBC station. Confirm that it carries the event and that you can receive its signal if you plan to watch over the air.
What to avoid
- Do not treat a listed streaming route as proof of a universally free stream.
- Do not rely on old claims about free trials, prices, or permanent replay access; service terms and catalogs can change.
- Do not use unauthorized mirror streams, torrent sites, or social-media restreams. They may be illegal, unstable, deceptive, or unsafe.
