Made by Nacho offers dry and wet cat foods alongside broths, treats and toppers. The brand says its foods are formulated to meet AAFCO nutrient profiles, but that statement—and the appropriate life stage—should be checked on the exact recipe and package. The information available supports a careful look at the product range and the brand’s claims, not a firsthand verdict on taste or a guarantee that a particular cat will thrive on it.
What Made by Nacho sells
The official product range includes bone-broth-infused dry food, wet recipes in broth or gravy, signature broth, treats, toppers and a starter kit. The kit listing describes a 2 lb chicken-and-pumpkin kibble bag, salmon-cuts pouches, mousse-treat pouches, turkey-broth topper and freeze-dried chicken treat. Products and availability can change, so check the current listing before buying. Made by Nacho’s official site is the place to confirm what is currently offered.

What the brand says about ingredients and recipes
Made by Nacho says its range includes both grain-free and grain-friendly recipes. The company also says some recipes contain organic ingredients, while clarifying that the recipes as a whole are not organic. Its FAQ says the company does not use corn, wheat, soy, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, legumes, or animal byproducts; it also notes that some recipes contain protein meal. These are company claims, not independent findings. For any particular food, the ingredient list on its package is the most relevant check. Read the company’s FAQ.

Recipe names can indicate which animal proteins are featured, but they are not a substitute for reading the full ingredient panel. Compare the exact recipe, listed ingredients and texture with your cat’s needs and preferences rather than assuming every product in the line has the same formulation.
Nutrition: check the exact recipe and life stage
The company FAQ says Made by Nacho foods are formulated according to AAFCO cat profiles. That broad statement does not establish that every product is a complete food for every life stage. For example, the Chicken, Duck & Quail kibble product page says that recipe is formulated to meet AAFCO nutrient profiles for growth and maintenance. Do not extend that product-specific statement to other recipes or to treats and toppers; check the exact package and product page. Made by Nacho describes its recipe development as involving Bobby Flay, pet nutritionists and veterinarian Dr. Katja Lang. That is useful provenance about the company’s process, but it is not independent proof of a food’s suitability for an individual cat. What reviews can—and cannot—tell you
Cats.com’s review and Cat Food Advisor’s dry-food review are independent secondary evaluations. They can offer additional perspectives, but they are not evidence of this writer’s feeding experience, a controlled feeding trial or a guaranteed result for your cat. The available information does not establish a general palatability result. Acceptance is individual: a cat may like one texture or recipe and reject another.
For a practical comparison, look at the exact recipe and life-stage statement, dry or wet format, named proteins and other ingredients, whether it is complete food or supplemental, package size and current price, and—once offered safely—your cat’s response. Current price and stock are not established here, so verify them with the seller before deciding.

How to introduce the food
Made by Nacho recommends beginning with small amounts and says a full transition may take about ten days. The brand quotes its veterinarian, Dr. Katja Lang: “Cats are grazers, so feeding them small quantities throughout the day is a great way to incorporate something new.” Treat the timeline as brand guidance, not a universal rule; follow veterinary advice if your cat has a medical condition or reacts poorly. Read the brand’s transition guidance.

- Observe whether your cat eats it and how they respond as you gradually adjust the amount.
- Take longer or stop the transition and consult your veterinarian if your cat has special dietary needs or develops a concerning reaction.
Storage after opening
Made by Nacho says to refrigerate opened wet food and serve unused portions within 3–5 days. For dry food, the brand says to follow the best-by date and recommends using it within 2–3 months after opening under proper storage conditions. These are the company’s product-use guidelines; follow the package directions for the specific food. The FAQ includes the storage guidance.
