Ten newborn puppies lost their mother just one day after she delivered them. Their unlikely lifeline was Pepper, a rescue dog who had recently lost her own litter. When Ruff Start Rescue volunteers introduced the grieving dog to Poppy’s orphaned puppies on July 22, 2021, the puppies latched within minutes.
