PerthNow reported that the group had spent a combined 1,306 days in care, according to RSPCA WA. The profiles appeared on 19 December 2024, so they are a snapshot—not current adoption listings—and each animal’s circumstances may have changed since then.
Who were the 12 Strays of Christmas?
The feature included four dogs, four cats, a guinea pig, a rabbit, two horses and a finch. Rather than describing one standard adoption match, the profiles drew attention to individual personalities and the kinds of homes or care each animal might need at the time.
