According to Deutsche Welle’s reporting, Farida had told her husband she was going to sell chilies to a collector. Reports said she did not return home, and the search began after her husband found belongings that raised concern.
What happened to Farida?
Farida was reported missing after failing to return home on Thursday night. Her husband found some of her belongings, and villagers searching for her reportedly saw a python with a visibly large belly. The discovery account was attributed to Suardi Rosi, the village head.
Reports said villagers cut open the python and found Farida inside. The reported snake length was around five metres (about 16 feet); this is an approximate figure, not an independently verified measurement.
