Naturea publishes dry food, wet food and treats for cats, but whether a particular recipe is a good choice depends on its current local label and your cat’s needs. Its published ingredient lists and typical analyses can help you compare formulas; they are not independent evidence that Naturea produces better health outcomes.
What is Naturea cat food?
Naturea says it is a Portuguese company founded in 2010. The company describes its approach as “naturally appropriate pet food,” with meat or fish protein among the first ingredients and European suppliers with traceable ingredient origins. Those are the manufacturer’s descriptions, not independent certification findings. Its corporate page also says, “Our goal is to develop and provide a global benchmark feed for pet diets.”
Naturea’s cat range includes dry food, wet food and treats. Its dry recipes are grouped under the Lands family. The manufacturer describes the dry range as grain-free and intended for cats of all ages, but suitability should be checked on the exact package sold in your country.
How do the Lands dry recipes compare?
Naturea lists three recipes: Barong, based on North Atlantic salmon; Bastet, based on free-range chicken; and Miacis, with salmon, chicken, rabbit and sardines. The figures below are published by Naturea as typical analyses and recipe details, not independent laboratory results. Calories are metabolizable energy per kilogram.

Ingredient percentages, order and analytical values describe the formulas as Naturea publishes them. They do not show how a cat will respond, establish a nutritional advantage over another food, or replace the full guaranteed analysis and feeding directions on the package you are considering.
What should you know about wet food and treats?
Wet food
Naturea lists wet food as part of its cat range. A technical document associated with the company describes complete wet food for cats and kittens and suggests rotating meat and fish recipes, including wet and dry foods for variety. However, the current recipe names and relevance of that document to every market are unclear. Check the exact can for its current formula, complete-food status, life-stage statement and feeding instructions before assessing it.

Treats
The official treats page describes chicken and duck varieties. Listed compositions include fresh meat or fish alongside ingredients such as fruit, lentils and seaweed. Naturea publishes analytical components of 32% protein, 8% fat, 1% fibre, 20% moisture and 9.5% ash. These figures describe the treats, not a complete daily diet. Give treats as treats unless the exact label explicitly identifies them as complete food.

Verdict: Is Naturea cat food good?
Naturea offers several formats and publishes useful ingredient and analysis information for its Lands dry recipes. That gives buyers information to compare, but it does not establish independent testing, feeding-trial results or superior health outcomes. Naturea may suit a cat if the exact local product is complete for the right life stage and fits the cat’s nutritional and veterinary needs. The package label—not the brand’s general positioning—is the basis for that decision.
