The Guardian named this its best-overall choice for linens and furniture. Its writer said the tool uses static electricity to collect fur in a chamber. The same assessment found that it took effort to use and felt awkward on small surfaces, so it is a better fit for broader areas than for tight corners or small items.

ChomChom Original Roller: reusable option without tape or batteries
ChomChom says its Original Roller is intended for pet beds, couches, and pillows and works without tape or batteries. Treat that as a manufacturer description, not an independent performance result. Cats.com discusses the roller for furniture, bedding, and car seats; its roundup notes that some users find the chamber difficult to empty and that it can be less effective on fine or short hair. ChomChom’s official site also lists a Roller and Detailer bundle, Travel Roller, Detailer scraper, and Carpet Rake. The right choice within that range depends on the surface and job.

That is a product claim; the Guardian’s reported comparison findings here concern the brand’s blade-and-brush tools for upholstery, not a head-to-head clothing test of this brush. Consider the garment fabric and the maker’s use guidance before applying any tool.

Lilly Brush blade, then brush
For hair embedded in velvet, bouclé, and linen, the Guardian’s writer described making an initial pass with the Lilly blade and then using the brush to gather finer hairs left behind.
