Henry reaches the top of the stairs before his puppy sister, then waits while she makes the climb at her own pace. It’s a sweet big-brother moment—at least, that’s the affectionate reading of the scene.
What happens in the stair-climbing clip
DogTime’s October 5, 2026 report, by Mugdha Singh, describes a puppy climbing household stairs one step at a time. The adult dog walks past her and heads upstairs with his tail wagging. When the puppy looks toward him, she briefly speeds up, then slows and continues at her own pace.
At the top, the dog waits while the puppy finishes the climb. The report says he also waits for the person filming. Once she reaches the top, the puppy walks past him.
Who are the dogs?
DogTime identifies the adult dog as Henry, describes him as a rescued American Bully, and credits the video to the Instagram account @henrybeefcake. Those details come from DogTime’s report; the available account of the clip does not independently confirm the dogs’ names, their relationship, Henry’s rescue history, or the account owner’s description of events.

Is Henry teaching his sister to use the stairs?
It looks like a lesson in the playful, human sense: Henry goes ahead, and his puppy companion follows after watching him. But the clip description does not establish that he intended to teach her. What it does show, as reported by DogTime, is the puppy tackling the steps at her own pace and Henry waiting at the top.
The report says the video carries the on-screen wording, “Reaching da baby how to step.” That caption adds to the big-brother interpretation, but it is not a statement from a named speaker or evidence of Henry’s intention.
