A Cockapoo named Bentley stays tucked behind a sheer curtain by a bright window, but his body remains visible—and as the camera comes closer, so do his nose and one eye. The contrast makes the moment look like a wonderfully confident hide-and-seek attempt.
What happens in the video?
DogTime’s October 5, 2026 report identifies the dog as Bentley, a Cockapoo, and credits the video to the Instagram account @myboyybentley. In the clip as described by DogTime, Bentley stands beside a bright window with a sheer curtain partly covering him. He watches the person filming and stays put; when the camera approaches, his nose and one eye come into view.
The video’s on-screen caption reads, “He definitely doesn’t think that I can see him…” That line captures the joke: the curtain offers little concealment, while Bentley remains still and watchful, as if he has found a clever hiding place. The scene is funny because viewers can see him so clearly—not because anyone can verify what he believes.
Why does the hiding attempt look so funny?
The humor comes from the mismatch between the hiding spot and the dog’s apparent commitment to it. A sheer curtain softens the view but does not cover Bentley’s visible outline, and the camera’s approach reveals more of his face. His steady gaze and stillness make the scene feel like a playful game of hide-and-seek, even though the clip alone cannot tell us what Bentley is thinking.
