Tink, a tiny Chihuahua puppy, is said to call the shots with Duffy, her much larger Pit Bull brother. In iHeartDogs’ account, she jumps on him and barks when she wants attention, while Duffy adapts his play to suit her.
How Duffy and Tink became companions
According to iHeartDogs writer Russel Moneva, Duffy was an energetic Pit Bull who had lost a longtime canine companion. His owner, Brooke, later brought home Tink, a Chihuahua puppy. The account says Brooke worried about the striking difference in their size.
Tink sets the pace
The story portrays Tink as an assertive little sister: she jumps on Duffy and barks when she wants his attention. Duffy, meanwhile, is described as adjusting his play around the puppy. The playful contrast is the heart of the story—not a claim that every large dog will behave the same way with a smaller one.
A quiet moment together
iHeartDogs says Brooke sometimes checks a camera while she is away and sees the dogs curled up together. That cozy image offers a softer counterpoint to Tink’s energetic demands for attention.
