Daisy, a Golden Retriever, carries her new pink blanket into another room and settles on her bed with it close by. Even when her person pets her, she keeps hold of the blanket—a small, sweet moment shared by the account @notthatjenwagner.
Watch Daisy take her pink blanket to bed
In the video shared by @notthatjenwagner, Daisy stands with the blanket in her mouth, carries it into another room, then settles on her bed with it beside her. When her person reaches over to pet her, Daisy continues holding on.
The caption accompanying the clip reads: “Daisy got a new pink blankie & it’s the only thing she treats like this.” The account is credited for the video, but the article does not give the person’s name.
Why might Daisy be so attached to it?
The clip shows that Daisy carries and holds this particular blanket; it does not establish why she does. Soft fabric or the comfort of having a familiar object nearby could be possibilities, but neither is confirmed. The caption’s clearest explanation is simply that this is the only thing Daisy treats this way.
