What are the Super Collies known for?
The Super Collies’ performances combine trick behaviors with agility and canine freestyle. Freestyle routines link trained movements into a sequence set to music, so the performance depends not just on individual tricks but on timing, transitions and cooperation between dog and handler.
In a Dog Pro Radio interview published by the International Association of Canine Professionals, Carson described her early path as beginning with basic obedience, tricks and agility before she explored other fields. She also named canine freestyle as her favorite area: “Definitely dancing with dogs. Um, uh, I guess you could just say trick training, but canine freestyle in general is probably my, my favorite thing to work on.” The interview transcript offers her first-person perspective on training and performance.

How many tricks can Hero do?
In a 2019 profile, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! reported that Hero performed 49 tricks in 60 seconds. That is a dated reported performance figure attributed to Hero, not confirmation of a current record. Ripley’s 2019 profile describes the feat.

Carson’s work spans advanced performance, but the starting point is simpler: build useful foundations, then teach small behaviors that suit the individual dog. The Super Collies’ official site describes Carson’s book and app as instructional options; it does not establish that every dog will learn at the same pace or achieve the same results.

Start with foundations
The official site says Carson’s book, Super Dog Tricks, was published in 2022. Its described material ranges from food and toy drive, leash walking and crate training to basic tricks such as sit, wave and crawl, then more advanced behaviors such as retrieving objects, dancing and putting toys away. A foundation-first sequence gives a handler a way to work on everyday skills before moving toward showier tricks. The official site’s book information lists that coverage.
Choose a learning format that fits
The Super Collies’ site describes Puppr as a free dog-training app with step-by-step lessons for tricks and obedience guided by Carson. “Free” is the site’s description; it does not guarantee that every current feature or term has no cost. A book may suit someone who wants a physical reference, while an app offers guided lessons on a device. The site does not provide a controlled comparison of their quality or outcomes.

Keep the goal appropriate to your dog
A performance routine is a specialized goal, not a necessary measure of a dog’s training or a handler’s success. A household can focus on practical behaviors, enrichment or a few enjoyable tricks. The official site also lists board-and-train, sport and service-dog work in Knoxville, Tennessee, as well as event performances; availability and details can change, so check its current listings directly before making plans.
