Nom Nom no longer sells cat food, so you cannot order its cat recipes today. Cats.com states that “As of Feb 24 2022 Nom Nom no longer sells cat food recipes,” and keeps its review online for readers who want the history. Catster’s page, updated September 17, 2026, says the fresh cat-food recipe has been discontinued and that the company is no longer taking orders for it.
What the Cats.com review scored
The Cats.com review, written by Mallory Crusta, a NAVC-certified Pet Nutrition Coach, gives Nom Nom 6/10 overall. It expresses that as 36 out of 60 and a C+ grade on the page last updated February 11, 2026. The review rates the product across six categories:
| Category | Cats.com score |
|---|---|
| Species appropriateness | 8/10 |
| Ingredient quality | 10/10 |
| Product variety | 2/10 |
| Price | 5/10 |
| Customer experience | 6/10 |
| Recall history | 5/10 |
| Overall | 6/10 (36/60, C+) |
These are the review’s own editorial scores. They are not a nutrition certification, not population data, and not a rating of the product as it is sold now. The pattern is informative, though. The perfect ingredient score sits beside the weakest variety score, which is consistent with the review’s account that only one cat recipe was offered at the time.
The recipes the review described
Chicken Cuisine
According to Cats.com, Chicken Cuisine was the only Nom Nom cat recipe when the review was written. The review describes fresh poultry, fruits and vegetables, single-serve packets that needed refrigeration, and custom portioning. These are details of a past product line, not a guide to what the company offers now.

Fish Feast and Chicken Chow-Meow
Cats.com says Fish Feast had been offered for a limited time and was no longer available when its main review was written. A separate Cats.com historical review covers Fish Feast and Chicken Chow-Meow, and its reviewer received a sample box. That is one reviewer’s report from a past period. It is not a test you can repeat, and it does not show that either recipe can be ordered today.
The 2021 recall described in the review
Cats.com reports that certain Chicken Cuisine lots produced March 8–17 were affected in 2021, after Tyson Foods recalled chicken over potential Listeria contamination. The review says no cat illnesses had been reported in its account. The lot and date details are as the review reports them. If you need to confirm whether a specific bag was affected, check the lot codes against the regulator’s recall notice rather than relying on this article or the review.

Nom Nom’s current official pages cover dog food
The company’s current official pages describe dog food. Its FAQ covers dog recipes, dog-food retail channels and canine formulation. Its meal-formulation page says recipes are evaluated by veterinary nutritionists and a PhD science team, but it does not name a cat product. Its medical-needs help page tells dog owners to consult their veterinarian. None of this transfers to cats, so do not read dog availability or nutrition claims as cat product information.
