They are useful for reading a label, but they are not an independent nutritional assessment.

The Cats.com reviewer ordered both variety packs and offered all eight listed recipes to two cats. Both cats liked the food, though their preferences differed by texture. That is a single household’s experience with two animals. It shows the food can be accepted, but it does not show that most cats will eat every recipe, and it should be read that way.

Trade-offs the review flags
- Plant-based added fat appears in some recipes the review discusses. Check the ingredient statement of the specific can if fat sources matter for your cat.
- Added starch appears in some recipes. Potato starch is listed in the Chicken and Beef purée’s ingredients.
- Low caloric density. Because the food carries relatively few calories per ounce, some cats may need larger portions to meet their energy needs.
- Nutrient charts. Cats.com calculates its charts from each food’s guaranteed analysis. It notes these may not represent typical nutrient values in the food as eaten.

For the Chicken and Beef Dinner in a Hydrating Purée, the review’s figure of 17 calories per ounce works out to roughly 42 calories per 2.47-ounce can (2.47 × 17). At the review’s approximate $0.60 per ounce, one can costs roughly $1.48 (2.47 × $0.60). Both numbers are arithmetic from the review’s per-ounce values for that one recipe, not from a manufacturer label, and retail prices vary. To estimate how many ounces your cat needs, divide your veterinarian’s daily calorie target by the calories per ounce on the current label. Every cat is different, so that target should come from your vet rather than from a review.
Price, pack sizes and where to buy
Cats.com says Pamper Like Paris is sold through Weruva, Chewy, Amazon, PetSmart, Petco and other retailers. The review gives an approximate price of $0.60 per ounce for the Chicken and Beef purée. Its price score of 6/10 is the lowest in the review’s category ratings, which fits the price concern described above. Those figures are dated and retailer prices change, so check the price per ounce on the day you buy. Weruva’s product page lists the Chicken and Beef purée as a 12-pack of 2.47-ounce cans.

A public r/catfood thread asks, “Has anyone tried this cat food?” One commenter says it is Weruva in different packaging and questions whether the price is a premium worth paying. That is one person’s opinion, not a verified comparison of recipes or prices. The practical test is simple: put the ingredient statement of a Pamper Like Paris recipe next to the ingredient statement of the closest regular Weruva recipe, and compare protein sources, texture, starch and fat sources, and price per ounce. If the lists match, you are paying for the branding. If they differ, the difference is what you are buying.

Allergies and shared processing
Cats.com reports that Weruva uses shared processing equipment and says cross-contamination may matter for cats with chicken or fish allergies. Cats with diagnosed food allergies, or any cat on a medical diet, should be managed with a veterinarian who can check the current manufacturer labeling for that recipe.
How to choose a recipe
- Rule out proteins first. If your cat must avoid chicken, fish or beef, eliminate those recipes before comparing anything else.
