Montgomery Humane Society’s featured pets for October 5 are Mint, a cuddly 6-month-old kitten, and Bella, a shy 2-year-old Border Collie-mix who warms up quickly. If you’re interested in adopting or fostering either pet, contact the shelter to confirm availability and current next steps.
Mint: a kitten who loves being held
Mint is a 6-month-old domestic shorthair kitten. His profile says he loves being held and is happiest beside his favorite human. That affectionate description offers a glimpse of Mint, not a complete assessment of his temperament or needs.
Bella: a shy dog ready for a new family
Bella is a 2-year-old Border Collie-mix whose owner died. She is now waiting for a new family. Described as docile and shy, Bella reportedly warms up to people quickly; interested adopters can ask the shelter what she is like in person and what support may help her settle into a new home.
How to ask about Mint or Bella
Montgomery Humane Society is the adoption destination named in WAKA 8’s October 5 feature. The story says interested readers can mention Mint or Bella at the front desk or visit the organization’s website. It also mentions fostering. Check with the shelter directly for current availability and its adoption or fostering procedures, as these can change.
