Are Duke and George really screening the groceries?
“Screening” is a playful way to describe the puppies sniffing and examining the items. The report does not establish that they can judge whether food is safe or fresh, or that they were trained to inspect groceries. DogTime suggests they may be hoping for treats or toys, but the clip’s description does not identify a particular item as their target.
