Cookie was a seven-year-old lionhead rabbit from Windsor, Ontario, featured in a May 2021 feel-good story for riding a skateboard. The account came from a video and statements attributed to his owner, Ron Gudel; the article did not explain how Cookie learned to ride or identify his board.
Who was Cookie the skateboarding rabbit?
In a feature published May 7, 2021, Daily Paws writer Emily Schroeder described Cookie as a seven-year-old lionhead rabbit living in Windsor, Canada. That age and location are details from the 2021 profile, not a current update.

The feature presented Cookie as part of owner Ron Gudel’s family and show life. It quoted Gudel’s website as calling Cookie “a member of the show and more importantly, a member of the family.” The wording is reported from the website by Daily Paws; the feature does not provide a separately dated or independently checked copy of the site text.
What did the story say about Cookie riding a skateboard?
Daily Paws reported Gudel’s claim that Cookie had skateboarded for most of his life and described a YouTube video showing the rabbit coasting along a neighborhood sidewalk. The feature did not document the circumstances of that ride or describe a training method, so it is best understood as an account attributed to Cookie’s owner rather than a how-to or independently verified demonstration.
