Tallahassee firefighters rescued Benny, a 14-year-old Golden Retriever, after he became trapped at the bottom of a ditch reported to be 20 feet deep. WCTV reported the rescue on October 11, 2026, saying it happened in the aftermath of Hurricane Isaias.

How was the incident connected to the hurricane?
The report places the rescue in the aftermath of Hurricane Isaias. It does not explain how Benny ended up in the ditch or claim that the storm caused him to fall or become trapped.
