Can you reuse Kitty Sift liners?
Yes. The company’s FAQ says the trays can be sifted and reused before disposal. It does not establish a fixed number of reuses or a replacement schedule, so inspect the cardboard as you use it and replace a tray when it no longer holds its shape or functions as intended.

What are the trays made of, and can they be composted?
Kitty Sift describes its trays as made from post-consumer recycled cardboard and markets the product as a plastic-free alternative. The company says the material is biodegradable and compostable in correct conditions. That does not establish acceptance by every municipal compost program: check local rules and any restrictions on pet-waste-soiled materials before putting used trays in a compost collection stream.
The FAQ describes Kitty Sift litter as a blend of sodium bentonite clay and probiotics, while its story page says the brand offers probiotic litter alongside its boxes. A Cats.com review describes Kitty Sift as a recycled-cardboard alternative and includes attributed customer accounts with both positive comments and concerns about fit or material. Chewy’s customer-review page also contains mixed comments about size, material, and operation. These accounts are anecdotes, not a representative sample, and they do not establish a reliable satisfaction, durability, or odor-control rate.
