The Campark TC37 is the best overall solar Wi-Fi trail camera on paper, but the Campark TC22 may be the better practical choice if you want an integrated solar-and-battery design. The GardePro E7 is strongest for app-oriented control, the GardePro E6 2.0 has the longest claimed local Wi-Fi range, and the Campark TC07 stands out for separate day and night lenses.

Before choosing, understand the category: “Wi-Fi” usually means a short-range hotspot for a phone near the camera—not internet access or remote viewing from anywhere.

Short answer: the Campark TC37 is the strongest all-around specification package among these five solar Wi-Fi trail cameras, while the Campark TC22 is the better fit if you specifically want an integrated solar-and-battery design. Choose the GardePro E7 for app-focused control, the GardePro E6 2.0 for the longest claimed local Wi-Fi range, or the Campark TC07 for its separate day/night lens system.

There is one important qualification: in this category, “Wi-Fi” usually means that the camera creates a nearby local hotspot for your phone. It usually does not mean that the camera joins your home router, uploads clips to the internet, or lets you watch wildlife from anywhere. Campark says its TC37 and TC07 cannot connect to the internet or a router, and GardePro says the E6 2.0 cannot connect to a home router. These are local, on-site cameras—not cellular trail cameras.

Our top five solar Wi-Fi trail cameras

Rank Camera Best for Key strengths Main limitation
1 Campark TC37 Best overall specification package 4K video, manufacturer-listed 60MP photos, dual lenses, built-in 2W solar panel, 5,200mAh battery, AA backup Official page showed it out of stock at research time; Wi-Fi is local only
2 Campark TC22 Integrated-solar value Built-in solar panel, 4,400mAh battery, dual lenses, 4K video, no-glow night vision Standby claims are not the same as active-use battery life
3 GardePro E7 App-oriented control Bluetooth pairing, direct Wi-Fi transfer, app settings, 940nm no-glow illumination, solar-panel bundle options Phone must be near the camera; bundle contents and price vary
4 GardePro E6 2.0 Longer claimed local Wi-Fi reach Manufacturer-listed 165-foot open-area Wi-Fi range, dual antennas, 4K video, optional SP350 solar panel Uses eight AA batteries without the separate solar panel
5 Campark TC07 Separate day/night lens design Sony IMX458 daytime sensor, dedicated night lens, 4K/30fps video, 120-degree detection angle Official page showed it out of stock; local Wi-Fi range is approximately 30 feet

If you are ready to compare current listings, start with a solar Wi-Fi trail camera that matches your intended installation. Check stock, exact model number, included SD card, solar-panel configuration, and return policy immediately before buying because those details can change.

What “solar Wi-Fi” actually means

Solar trail cameras in this guide use one of two related arrangements:

  • Integrated-solar cameras: the solar panel and rechargeable battery are built into the camera body. The Campark TC37 and TC22 fit this description.
  • Solar-compatible or bundle cameras: the camera can be paired with a separate panel, or sold in a bundle that includes one. The GardePro E6 2.0 is compatible with the separate SP350 panel, and E7 configurations may include a solar panel.

In both cases, the solar panel helps maintain the camera’s power supply. It does not guarantee perpetual operation. Shade, winter daylight, panel angle, latitude, temperature, recording frequency, trigger activity, battery age, and night-vision use all affect how much energy the system needs and receives.

Local Wi-Fi versus internet or cellular access

With a local Wi-Fi trail camera, you normally walk close to the camera, activate its Wi-Fi—sometimes after Bluetooth pairing—and connect your phone to the camera’s network through the manufacturer’s app. You can then review or download files and change settings without removing the SD card.

You generally cannot use that connection to view the camera from your house or while traveling. A household router is not the same thing as the camera’s built-in hotspot, and the models reviewed here are not presented as internet-connected cameras.

Need to check wildlife remotely?

Look at a cellular trail camera instead. Reolink’s Go-series wildlife cameras use 4G LTE and do not require Wi-Fi, but cellular models normally need a SIM or mobile-data plan and adequate network coverage. They belong in a separate category and should not be compared directly with ordinary local-Wi-Fi cameras on purchase price alone.

1. Campark TC37: best overall specification package

The Campark TC37 is the most feature-heavy model in this group on paper. Campark lists:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • 4K video and manufacturer-listed 60MP still photos
  • a dual-lens design
  • starlight night vision
  • a claimed 0.1-second trigger
  • a built-in 2W solar panel
  • a 5,200mAh rechargeable battery
  • AA-battery backup
  • a 2-inch display
  • local Wi-Fi and app control
  • IP66 protection

The appeal is the combination rather than any single number. A dual-lens system may be attractive to wildlife observers who want the camera optimized for different day and night conditions, while the built-in panel, rechargeable battery, and AA backup provide more power options than a camera that depends on one battery compartment.

Best for: buyers who want the biggest headline feature set, dual lenses, and built-in solar power.

  • Rechargeable & Solar-Powered: This Trail camera features a built-in rechargeable battery that saves you money, reduces waste, and keeps the camera running longer. The new detachable, adjustable solar panel provides even more convenient, eco-friendly power in the field. And to support longer hunting trips, the hunting camera can easily connect to a power bank for reliable, continuous performance.
  • Low-Glow Night Vision up to 65 ft: The trail cameras with night vision motion activated waterproof are enhanced 850nm infrared LEDs to keep the trail cams discreet while capturing wildlife activity. Adaptive lighting automatically balances brightness, preventing overexposure or dark spots for clear, detailed images - even in total darkness
  • IP66 Waterproof & Smart Features: This trail camera has an IP66 waterproof rating for reliable use in rain, snow, and tough outdoor conditions. Its fast motion-activation tech captures wildlife instantly, day or night. The camera comes as a full kit with mounting straps, a bracket, an SD card, and a user manual for quick setup. It also includes timestamps, custom monitoring periods, time-lapse mode, loop recording, and password protection. With the TrailCam GO app, you can easily view and understand animal behavior from your phone. For added peace of mind, it’s backed by a 2-year warranty and one-on-one support.

Important availability note: Campark’s official page showed the TC37 as out of stock at the time of research, with a listed price of $139.99 then. Treat that price and availability as volatile, and verify them before publication or purchase.

Do not overread the specifications: the resolution, trigger speed, and runtime figures are manufacturer-listed claims, not independent test results. They do not by themselves establish image quality, detection accuracy, or real-world battery endurance.

2. Campark TC22: best integrated-solar value concept

The Campark TC22 is a sensible choice for shoppers who want the solar hardware built into the camera rather than attached as a separate accessory. Campark lists an integrated solar system, a 4,400mAh battery, dual lenses, 4K video, manufacturer-listed 60MP photos, Wi-Fi/app control, and 850nm no-glow night vision.

Its integrated design can simplify installation: there is no separate panel to mount, position, protect, or connect. That does not remove the need to place the camera where its panel receives useful light, however. A camera under a dense tree canopy may receive too little sunlight even if the panel is physically exposed.

Campark describes the TC22 as self-charging and lists up to one year of standby. “Standby” should not be interpreted as a year of frequent motion-triggered recording. A busy wildlife path, repeated night illumination, video length, wireless use, and cold weather can all increase consumption.

Best for: users who want an integrated solar panel and rechargeable battery in a dual-lens camera.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Check before buying: current stock, the exact battery arrangement, included accessories, SD-card requirements, and whether the listing is for the TC22 rather than a similarly named Campark model.

3. GardePro E7: best app-oriented Wi-Fi pick

The GardePro E7 is the most natural choice here for readers who put phone-based control near the top of their list. GardePro emphasizes Bluetooth pairing, direct Wi-Fi media transfer, camera-setting adjustments, and a dedicated app. Its listed feature set also includes 64MP photos, 1296P video, 940nm no-glow infrared illumination, and claimed night vision up to 100 feet.

The workflow is convenient when you are already at the property: connect to the camera, inspect clips, change settings, and download selected files without opening the housing or removing the memory card. It is not remote monitoring. You still need to be within the camera’s local wireless range.

GardePro lists configurations that include a solar panel, a 64GB card, and a wall mount. Because sellers may offer camera-only and bundled versions, compare the contents of the box rather than comparing prices alone.

Best for: users who prioritize app control, direct phone transfers, and no-glow night operation.

Watch-outs: the claimed resolution and detection distance are manufacturer figures; local Wi-Fi performance depends on terrain and obstructions; and a solar-panel bundle may cost more or be configured differently from the camera-only version.

4. GardePro E6 2.0: best claimed local Wi-Fi range and flexibility

GardePro lists a local Wi-Fi range of up to 165 feet for the E6 2.0 in open-area conditions, along with dual antennas. That makes it the most compelling pick if you want to stand farther away while reviewing footage or adjusting settings.

The E6 2.0 also lists 4K video, a claimed 0.3-second trigger, a 110-degree field of view, and 940nm no-glow night vision. It is compatible with GardePro’s separate SP350 solar panel, and official bundle options include the panel and a 64GB SD card.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The range figure needs context. Trees, buildings, slopes, wet vegetation, fencing, and the orientation of the camera and phone can reduce usable range substantially. Consider 165 feet an open-area manufacturer claim, not a guaranteed distance in a woodland or backyard.

Unlike the integrated-solar Campark models, the E6 2.0 uses eight AA batteries unless you add the SP350 or buy a bundle that includes it. If you choose this camera specifically for solar operation, make sure the panel is included or budget for the compatible accessory.

Best for: buyers who want flexible solar-bundle choices, 4K capture, and the longest claimed local Wi-Fi reach in this group.

Natural accessory: the GardePro SP350 solar panel is the relevant add-on for an E6 2.0 installation, but confirm compatibility and whether the product listing already includes it.

5. Campark TC07: best separate day/night lens alternative

The Campark TC07 takes a different optical approach. It uses separate day and night lenses, including a Sony IMX458 daytime sensor and a dedicated night-vision lens. Campark lists 4K/30fps video, manufacturer-listed 60MP daytime photos, a claimed 0.1-second trigger, a 120-degree detection angle, a solar panel, AA-battery backup, IP66 protection, and local Wi-Fi/app control.

The separate day/night arrangement gives the TC07 a clear reason to exist in this ranking. It may appeal to wildlife observers who care about low-light operation and fast-moving subjects, although the available evidence does not establish independent image-quality or trigger-speed performance.

Campark says the TC07 is not a webcam, cannot connect to a router, and has an approximately 30-foot local Wi-Fi range. The official page also showed the camera as out of stock at research time.

Best for: readers interested in separate day/night lenses, a broad detection angle, and manufacturer-listed fast triggering.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Storage requirement: Campark recommends a U3-or-higher SD card up to 128GB for the TC07’s high-resolution recording. Do not assume that every trail camera uses the same card capacity or speed; confirm the manual or product page for the exact model.

How to choose between them

Solar installation: what determines whether it works

Solar power is a maintenance reducer, not a promise of unlimited runtime. Before mounting the camera, evaluate:

  1. Sun exposure: favor a position with several hours of useful light and avoid placing the panel behind dense leaves, an overhang, or a north-facing obstruction where applicable.
  2. Seasonal changes: the same spot may receive direct sunlight in summer but be shaded by a lower winter sun or leafless branches.
  3. Panel angle and orientation: aim the panel toward the strongest available light while keeping the camera pointed at the trail or feeding area.
  4. Activity level: a quiet observation point consumes less power than a busy path recording frequent video clips and repeatedly illuminating the scene at night.
  5. Backup power: retain the recommended AA batteries when the camera supports them, particularly during cloudy periods or winter.
  6. Battery condition: a degraded rechargeable battery can limit the benefit of an otherwise well-positioned panel.

The TC37 combines a built-in panel and rechargeable battery with AA backup. The TC22 lists an integrated panel and 4,400mAh battery. The E6 2.0 requires the separate SP350 panel when you want a solar-assisted setup. Those are materially different installation experiences, so “solar” should not be treated as a uniform feature.

Storage, mounting, and security checklist

  • Use the right card: for the TC07, Campark recommends a U3-or-higher card up to 128GB. A U3 SD card for 4K trail cameras is a reasonable accessory search, but confirm the exact format, speed, and maximum capacity for your chosen model.
  • Format the card in the camera: after backing up any files, use the camera’s own format command where available. This can prevent file-system problems caused by cards formatted elsewhere.
  • Mount it securely: use a trail camera mounting strap or compatible tree-mount kit. Keep the lens and solar panel unobstructed, and check that the camera is level with the intended activity zone.
  • Protect exposed installations: a trail camera security box can deter tampering and reduce damage from impacts, but verify the enclosure’s dimensions and mounting compatibility for the specific model.
  • Test before leaving: trigger the camera in daylight and at night, inspect the field of view, verify that videos save correctly, test the local Wi-Fi connection from the intended standing position, and check that the solar-panel cable or integrated panel is not blocked.
  • Respect privacy and wildlife: avoid aiming at neighboring homes, public paths where recording may create privacy concerns, or places where baiting and artificial lighting could disturb animals. Follow local rules and property permissions.

What not to infer from the product numbers

High megapixel counts and 4K labels describe recording settings, not guaranteed wildlife-identification quality. Image sharpness also depends on the sensor, lens, illumination, compression, movement, focus, and placement. Similarly, a 0.1- or 0.3-second trigger claim does not tell you how reliably the camera detects an animal at every distance or angle.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The same caution applies to battery claims. Manufacturer-listed standby figures are controlled-use estimates and are not equivalent to independently tested runtime with frequent motion events, video recording, Wi-Fi transfers, and night illumination. The available evidence for these five products is primarily manufacturer documentation, not independent laboratory or long-term field testing.

Final buying advice

For the broadest listed feature set, choose the Campark TC37—but verify that it is actually available. For an integrated solar design with fewer separate parts, the Campark TC22 is the more focused choice. The GardePro E7 makes the most sense when app interaction is central to your routine. Choose the GardePro E6 2.0 if its claimed open-area Wi-Fi range and optional SP350 panel fit your site. The Campark TC07 is the specialist alternative for its separate day/night lens concept, subject to its availability and SD-card requirements.

Most importantly, decide whether you need local phone access or remote viewing. If you need to see footage while away from the camera, skip this local-Wi-Fi ranking and investigate a cellular trail camera with suitable network coverage and an affordable data plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a solar Wi-Fi trail camera be viewed remotely from anywhere?

No. These cameras generally create a local Wi-Fi hotspot that lets you connect a nearby phone to review footage or change settings. They generally cannot join your home router or send footage over the internet. For access from anywhere, you need a cellular trail camera with mobile coverage and usually a SIM or data plan.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Which solar Wi-Fi trail camera is best overall?

The Campark TC37 has the strongest manufacturer-listed specification package: 4K video, 60MP photos, dual lenses, a built-in 2W solar panel, a 5,200mAh battery, and AA backup. However, the official page showed it out of stock at research time, and those specifications are not independent test results.

Which trail camera has the best integrated solar design?

The Campark TC22 has an integrated solar panel and 4,400mAh battery. The GardePro E6 2.0 uses a separate SP350 panel when configured for solar operation, while some GardePro E7 bundles include a solar panel. Check the exact listing because bundle contents vary.

What SD card should I use with a 4K trail camera?

Campark recommends a U3-or-higher SD card up to 128GB for the TC07’s high-resolution recording. Other models may have different capacity and speed limits, so confirm the exact manual or product page before purchasing a card.

Which model has the longest Wi-Fi range?

The GardePro E6 2.0 has the longest manufacturer-listed local Wi-Fi range in this group—up to 165 feet in an open area. Trees, buildings, terrain, and other obstructions can reduce the usable range significantly.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The Bottom Line

Bottom line: the Campark TC37 is the best on-paper all-rounder, the TC22 is the simplest integrated-solar option, and the GardePro E6 2.0 is the best fit for longer claimed local Wi-Fi reach. None of these ordinary Wi-Fi models provides internet-based remote monitoring, and Campark’s TC37 and TC07 availability should be checked before purchase.
