Campbell Puckett, known online as “Pookie,” announced that Pierre, the French bulldog she shared with her husband, Jett Puckett, had died after a hospital reportedly diagnosed him with terminal brain cancer. Campbell said she held Pierre in her arms for the last time before he died.
What happened to Pierre?
In a report published on April 26, 2024, PerthNow said Campbell shared the news in an emotional video and tribute posted the previous day. Campbell wrote: “My angel went to heaven last night after I held him in my arms one last time. A piece of my heart went with him. Life will never be the same without him.”

The report said Pierre received steroids and antibiotics and gradually improved. The couple became more optimistic, although they still did not know what was causing his symptoms. After he abruptly worsened, they rushed him back to the hospital, where, according to PerthNow, the hospital determined he had terminal brain cancer.
Those diagnostic details are reported statements attributed to the couple, not conclusions independently verified through veterinary records. The available reports do not establish a tumor subtype, a treatment plan, or further details about Pierre’s prognosis.
